Font Scaling Yes = I don't like what it does - it just fills the session part of the emulator, and I want text to stay more the same size between 80 and 132 column displays.

I was using PComm - in some situations it seemed better - but I tried LC again - it fixed an issue in DSPPFM where those blocks for non-displayable did not align - with LC they do.

There are 2 other fonts that can work - Consolas is nice, as is Lucida Sans Typewriter.

None of these address the maximizing issue, though.

Thanks
Vern

Edit/preferences/appearance/font. Click on Font Scaling Yes.

I also used to use PCCom font, but lately I've been using Lucinda Console.
Seems to work better on multiple monitor combinations.

Kind of - there's a difference in Windows between just resizing to the
display and clicking on the middle button next to the red X - that is
maximizing - ACS does sort of resize but does not maximize.

by maximized you mean full screen?

Oh yeah, another thing or 2 - when I am in a multiple-tab setup (BCHX
file) and add another tab by clicking on the + tab (or Ctrl-T, I
believe),
I get the new session with its tab - but there is not an X on the tab to
close it, as there is on the 2 that are part of the set up in the BCHX
file. I have to right-click on the tab and take an option on the context
menu.

Another item I wish worked - I cannot get the sessions to open in a
truly-maximized way - iAccess has done that forever - I can say
"maximized"
on the shortcut for the HDO file. I think that this "maximized" setting
does not really affect the session, it affects the JAR file.

I'm using multiple tabs to work with 2 systems and once in awhile add
more sessions from those systems.

I run into a couple things -

1. I set up using Ctrl-mouse wheel to navigate between tabs - sometimes
it gets stuck and does nothing. (BTW, for Jon's benefit, it's COOl to
be in
an SEU or PDM window and use the wheel to page up and down!)

2. Sometimes I am not able to type anything into an entry field or
command line.

3. Sometimes I click on a macro - I have the macro toolbar open and have
a sign-on macro selected - and nothing happens - again, it seems hung
up.

4. There is a now-known bug with hotspots that I reported - if you have
both "Enter at cursor position" and "Enter string at cursor position"
checked, it does only the latter - double-clicking in an empty part of
the
screen does nothing - I'm running 1.1.4, maybe it's fixed in the latest.

I'm living with these, since the problems go away fairly quickly or if I
click somewhere in the session or in another tab - inexplicable, eh?
And I
don't have authority here to submit PMRs - not sure if I can do it
through
a phone call - I prefer on-line.

Cheers
Vern

We also found that the tabs function does not work well. I am sure

Jim,

Could you elaborate on what doesn't work on the tab support? I
have
been using tabs since before it was available and haven't found
anything
that didn't work yet. It's likely we use tabs differently I suspect.
