For local storage - there are several FTP solutions.
For offsite storage - depending on the amount of data you have, and the
internet bandwidth, you should go with a mirroring solution like BUS400 as
you then do not need to have any backup window.
Imagine a nightly save of 400GB using a 20MBit LL ;-)
