Prompt CRTPF and CRTLF and press F10 and F9 and then F11 to look at all the parameters -- there is no "ASP" parameter -- as far as I know, the ASP will be that of the "containing" library. So, when you issue CRTPF or CRTLF, you specify what library to create that object in, and when a library is in a user ASP or an independent ASP, all objects in that library will normally be in the same ASP.

(The only time this might not be true is when a user ASP becomes "full" and so then objects can "overflow" into the system ASP, since they are all considered to be part of *SYSBAS.)

Watch out for Journals. While receivers can be in a different ASP, the journal for an object must be in the same ASP. Also LF must also be in the same ASP as the Physicals it uses if memory serves me correctly.
