How many objects do you have in the library? I believe there is a limit of about 360,000 objects per library.

Are you certain you're not hitting Enter twice after typing the command?
The first Enter executes the command, the second Enter will exit PDM, assuming "Exit lists on ENTER" is set to 'Y' on PDM Defaults (F18).
