I do similar steps as the others but I wanted the SQL app windows to group on my task bar by themselves (not grouped with the 5250 sessions) and with just one main executable that is impossible. So I copied the main executable and renamed it. I created a shortcut to that new executable and use this target string;
[...]\acslaunch_GUISQL.exe /PLUGIN=rss /SYSTEM=ssssssss /DATABASE=xxxx
If you don't have an IASP installed then leave the /DATABASE off the target string, also make certain you use Kerberos connectivity feature on the server config otherwise you will have to log on manually.
