So they fixed some things and broke FNDSTRPDM. One step forward, one step
back. Cha cha cha.

APAR SE63897 is open for this issue.

Glenn,

1) I received the same error.

FNDSTRPDM STRING(TESTCASE) FILE(SOURCELIB/SYSSOURCE) MBR(*ALL) OPTION(*DSP)
Pointer not set for location referenced.
Function check. MCH3601 unmonitored by QUYLIST at statement *N,
instruction X'0151'.
Error while processing the FNDSTRPDM command.

2) I went to one of my playground LPARS, where neither SI58878 or SI8570
were applied, FNDSTRPDM worked.

Hi Paul,

I'd be curious if you have the same problem I am having.

After applying SI59079, FNDSTRPDM does not work.
Option 25 does work but the command itself from the command line does not.

Eg.

FNDSTRPDM STRING(GUNDERMANN)
FILE(GLENNLIB/QRPGLESRC)
MBR(ECWEBCHAN)
OPTION(*DSP)

I'm getting:
MCH3601 Pointer not set for location referenced.
From program QUYLIST
Instruction 0151

PMR opened.

There were several issues with multiple PDM PTFs over the last 3

PTF Si59079 is the latest, just released.
I applied *immediate with no issues.

I suggest you order and apply this, if issues still exists, open a
PMR with support.

I know, egads.

I don't know what PTF brought on this problem.
Work with Members Using PDM.
I am finding intermittently, that after editing and saving a source
member, option 2 sometimes remains in the option column beside the
source I was working with.

Anyone else finding the same problem?

Glenn -

For years, I have occasionally seen this happen. At first I thought
it was because another user was browsing the member at the moment it
was being saved, but was never able to replicate the problem.
