We just started doing this exact thing. We also went with RingCentral & it
was very easy to setup. Just email fax#@rcfax.com

Subject: fax a pdf from Power i

Looking for a solution to replace a very old lan pc fax solution.

Would like to output pdf (so I can add logos, images, afpds stuff), and
already emailing the same pdfs to most.

About 300-400 faxes per month, and mostly in couple daily batches (these
are the customers who refuse email).

Have no large network multifunction printer but depending upon cost may
consider.

Want to avoid any proprietary output specs for another external pc (or
internal modem card)..software cost and maintenance is killing them.

Needs to be hands free fully automated (it is now).

Current Power 7+

Looking for a proven solution.

Jim
