Well, I get that zipping does compress space, and a miniscule percentage
of space on a 4GB image file is a big thing to some people, however I find
that the percentage is not that big. That, and you now need almost twice
the space of the file on your system, even if only temporary. One for the
zipped version and one for the unzipped version. I would rather just get
them unzipped.
