When i have a look IBM Germany page (which will come up when visiting ibm.com),
i see the following of interest (or what IBM thinks what is of interest):
(rough translation by me)

- Begin to understand new Markets, Customers... about IBM Commerce insights

This week at IBM:
- New zSystems Generation for Cloud and mobile technology (!)
- IBM on the Hannover Fair
- Human Ressources and Work 4.0 (meep! Bingo!)
- Welcome to the cognitive ear (meep!)
- Cognitive Computing
- IBM Watson
- How can your company be cognitive (meep/2)
- Watson... watson. Watson... What's on?

So the only thing IBM thinks is of interest for the start page is
- Watson
- and a bit of z

I believe that IBM feels that people do not find new releases of operating
systems and whatnot "newsworthy". That CEO's and whatnot only want to see
stuff about Haliburton and whatnot. Apparently they think that releases
of the latest iPhone and other tech related news are never heard of and
have no interest to most people. So therefore why would a new release of
IBM i be newsworthy?
