Re: FTP server went dead without apparent reason

I've seen some really weird things with the SSL functionality in my days...

A certificate or CA expires and it shuts down any SSL functionality, even
if it has nothing to do with the particular expired cert or CA.

Odd for sure.

Actually, ten months, four days, 5 1/2 hours ago. But as I said, WE DON'T
ACTUALLY USE SECURED MODE ON THIS FTP SERVER.

Thankfully, we updated the certificate for the Telnet server (the only
server on the box that runs SSL through DCM) back in January, and it's good
until 2021.
