Larry,
Our company currently uses Dell iSCSI MD3280i to backup all our
Windows and Linux servers vIa Tivoli.
I was asked if could be used to back up our iSeries.
The thought was to expand the MD3280i and use it as a backup device as
opposed to tape.
My response was there other disk based backup solutions designed to
work with an iSeries.
But I did need to ask.

Used, perhaps. Supported, no chance. Given that I wouldn't touch it
in a production environment.
