Dollars to doughnuts if she was messing around with image catalogs she
either did the GO PTF 8 and changed it to IPL, or,
ran INSPTF and the default on that is perform an IPL.

I suggest doing a
CHGSRVA PTFINSTYP(*DLYALL)
which will change the default from *DLYIPL, (which is as it is shipped).
Been a few "oopsies" throughout the years on that one.

*DLYIPL means mark them all as delayed and do an ipl right away.
*DLYALL means mark them all as delayed and I'll do an IPL when I'm darn
good and ready.
