The ticket says it supports 12 characters, but I thought it was 15 (which is still not enough)?
I'm glad to hear it's been scheduled for future release. I added my vote anyway.

Voted. I must say, to me this verges on being a bug fix rather than an enhancement. If you were to describe that behavior to anyone in the Windows or Linux world, they would tell you "that's just plain broken". But I won't quibble on terminology. This really is something that should be taken care of.
