John,

Thank you!! That did the trick. I have to confess that I never got around
that part of the config menu. I'm afraid I focused too much in the font
options (shame on me).

In our company we are, basically, a HP/SAP/ORACLE shop. Nevertheless, we
still use an old IBM i5 as a BI machine and some other auxiliary apps. I'm
still an iNav user but for most of (if not all) my 5250 needs I have
switched to ACS. I appreciate the cut & paste options, as well as the
simplicity of having several sessions opened as tabs in the same app. Also,
the file transfer option is, IMHO, better than in the old emulator.

Thanks again,

Luis

Just installed the latest ACS version (1.1.6.0) and, when running 5250

In the configuration options I have set fixed font as "No" and font
scaling
as "Yes". Font is PComm Session.

Any ideas?

Yes. Go to the Communication menu, pick Configure. Then pick
Preferences. The first option is "Automatic Resize". Set that to No.

In playing around with it for a bit, it seems to me that this option
takes precedence over your font settings. It's possible people talked
about (and complained about) this before on these lists, but I never
paid attention because until now, I figured I wouldn't be using ACS
until absolutely forced to. (And I still currently prefer iSeries
Access, but I'm just giving ACS a try.)
