Forget at this time the fact that one IP is used by SST. It does not
really matter.
In my opinion, your concern is a pure IP question. If the two IPs are in
distinct /subnets/ you need a gateway somewhere.
And the gateway must have routes or a connection to both subnets.
If the two IPs are in the same /subnet/, most of the time they will use
in the same VLAN id (if there is no external ethernet device [able to
manage distinct VLAN ids] between both ethernet adapters, they must use
the same VLAN id).
If we come back to your need to use network image catalog, if your
security guys agree, on your DMZ lpar, you may use two virtual ethernet
adapters, one for the 208.x.y.z IP and the second one in VLAN 206 with
10.10.6.x subnet, and assign the last one to the SST function. You may
even use a distinct virtual switch for that ethernet adapter.
