I think Jim is right. There are probably some members in the LUG putting
a lot of weight on the life of 7.1.
But on that cume, IBM promises a years notice on EOS of any level of IBM
i. And there's normally at least one cume towards EOS. There's a few of
us who download the latest cume, groups, etc of a release at EOS time. I
do it to burn to disc for the possibility of acquisitions. We're actually
looking for a new acquisitions person (and numerous other duties) to be
based out of Grand Rapids MI (probably due to the "other duties"). So
there is always a possibility of some such thing.
