Is this Power8 specific? We do move of CPU, RAM between P6 and P7 LPARs every day,
also on the P8 boxes (not so often).

They are working on a solution.
For now they recommend you do not dynamically MOVE cpu from one lpar to
another. The circumvention is to REMOVE the cpu from one lpar and ADD it
to the other.
