You can only save to x-2. If you're on 7.2 then that would be 6.1.
Tell your vendor to do one of the following:
- Get a newer system which supports a version of the OS currently
supported by IBM.
- Join IBM's Partners In Development program and timeshare off of their
systems. I know of one vendor doing this.
- Join another timeshare service such as http://iinthecloud.com/
- You're sending the file in a 6.1 savf. If they need it for a release
earlier than that then they need to figure out how to do it. Perhaps with
a sweet heart deal with a customer running an OS that is either not
supported or scheduled to go out of support April 30, 2018.

Somehow they had to get thier software past the 6.1 ANZOBJCVN issue so I'm
sure they can figure this out.

Me, I'd seriously consider changing vendors. I have zero tolerance for
that.
