When you set PTFs for an IPL that is 'far in the future' (e.g. longer than 'today') you risk the joy of them being applied when you did not intend. For example a lady swerves to miss an errant biker and instead hits the power pole down on the corner. This of course occurs on a sunny day when silly YOU though it would be safe to do generator maintenance. UPS runs down system shuts down. Later that day Power is back, system IPLs, and , oh rats, PTFs..... And I wanted the system up as soon as possible!

So consider when you set those buggers to apply if you really want that trigger set far in advance of the intended IPL.
