Take a look at the 'WITH RETURN ...' clause. 'TO CLIENT' is what you want,
not 'TO CALLER'.

The clause is used on the 'SET RESULT SETS' statement, if you're returning
an RPG array, or the 'DECLARE CURSOR' statement if using SQL.

I am trying to create a stored procedure that calls a CL program which in
turn calls a RPG program to return a result set.

I am not able to get it to work.What do I need to change?

drop procedure qgpl.IAR400;

Create procedure qgpl.IAR400
(IN USER_ID CHAR(10),
IN PU_Type CHAR(01),
OUT Error_Code CHAR(02),
OUT PERRMSG CHAR(100) )

EXTERNAL NAME DEVDF.IAR400
LANGUAGE RPGLE
SPECIFIC IAC400
NOT DETERMINISTIC
MODIFIES SQL DATA
CALLED ON NULL INPUT
PARAMETER STYLE GENERAL WITH NULLS
DYNAMIC RESULT SETS 1
;
The stored procedure should call IAC400 which will call IAR400.

TIA
