You can also just do it for the job so the effect is minimal.

Many of us have ran CHGSYSVAL QCCSID to 37 right smack dab in the middle of the day with no negative repercussions.  Chuck Pence raised a concern with that and you can search the archives for that.
Since your email address ends with ".it" your situation may differ.

Hi All
If i run this SQL Stmt “SELECT DBITXT, DBIHDG FROM qsys/qadbifld WHERE
DBILIB = ‘MYLIB” , in the DBITXT, DBIHDG I see strange chars like “ä ? À
: Ñ Á > À /    “  …  if I run CHGJOB CCSID(37) , then I see the DBITXT,
DBIHDG values OK . My SYSTEM CCSID is  65535
 
Is it normal ? 
I run V7R1  but also in other OS Version
