Then there are those vendors who switch from flat-rate to per-user charges. Wonderful if you have an application all your users and customers can use! The combined per-user charge usually hikes the bill up quite a bit!

Makes you wonder if they actually want their product used!

This also encourages a common profile that everyone can sign on with.

And then there are products that are licensed for a limited term-- after the year is up, you ante up or it stops working.
