My theory is that they should be accessing by host name, supplied from a
DNS and not from a host table entry. Therefore assume so. Fix those so
they work. Those who are not fall under your "handling on a case-by-case
basis". Perhaps a little suffering will help them get it right in the
future.


Also, if you're concerned that the communications are brief and may not
appear on that SQL you can try STRCMNTRC.
