Curious. Were you looking at stuff from Help Systems? Their pricing is
bizarre.
You pay based on how many processors you have allocated to IBM i. So,
let's say you have three lpars of IBM i. Let's just say each has two
processors for a total of 6 processors allocated to IBM i. So you may
Help Systems for this amount.
And, you pay again for each lpar running it.
So if you're running their product on just one lpar you pay for the total
6 processors and then for the one lpar running it.
