Hi All,

V7R3 and current on PTF's as at June 30 2017

We have created ASP02 and run the following commands;

CRTUDFS UDFS('/dev/QASP02/qasp02.udfs') <== Create the user defined
file system

MOUNT TYPE(*UDFS) MFS('/dev/qasp02/qasp02.udfs') MNTOVRDIR('/asp02') <===
Mounted the file system

CRTDIR DIR('/asp02/backup') <=== Created a backup directory

I have shared the directory through System i Navigator as read only.

I am trying to mount from a Linux box with the following command;

mount -t nfs <IP-Address-of-IBMi>:/DEV/QASP02/qasp02.udfs msdtest

The command times out after a couple of minutes.

I can ping the IBMi successfully from the Linux box

Would appreciate any suggestions

Thank you in advance
