For me the update menu doesn't work either.
Aside from that, where does one find the version that the installation is
at? I just know I have version 1.1.7.1 installed, but I don't see it back
in the Abouts of the programs.

When I click Help, Check for updates, I get a popup with "No updates are
available.
Should that work? If so, does it require some additional configuration on
my part?
