Appear to whom? To a system administrator trying to set up and/or
monitor an SSH session (invoked by someone else logged in via SSH)? Or
to a user logging in via SSH?

Or perhaps it's controlled by the same process as 5250?

I'm not 100% sure, but the additional question and the image suggest
to me you are asking from the system administrator's POV rather than
the SSH user's POV.
