What do you want, you want to search the IFS to find a specific file?

What about the following solution:
1. Run the CL command RTVDIRINF.
RTVDIRINF will Return 2 Out Files beginning with the specified prefix (XXD
and XXO) in the specified library:
RTVDIRINF DIR('/home/YourDirectory')
INFFILEPFX(XX)
INFLIB(YourLib)

2. Just join the 2 outfiles and search the result.
Something like this:
Select QEZDIRNAM1, qezobjnam
from YourLib.XXD join YourLib.XXO using(QEZDIRIDX)
Where Upper(QEZDIRNAM1 concat QEZOBJNAM) like '%YOURFILE%';

That would work. It sounds like an IFS equivalent of the original SQL
solution I proposed.

Thanks

Like John Yeung said, it's a one liner.

If you don't want to ls the folder repeatedly, ls it once to a file once and
repeatedly grep the file instead.
