What others believe, and what software vendors believe, may not jive.
I knew of a shop 30+ years ago which had everyone sign on to their Mapics
system with the same id. Does that count as one user? That was their
belief and why they did it that way.
If you validate people against any non IBM method either by a table of
user id's and passwords, or by however GoAnywhere stores their internal
user ids, and then use the swap profile API's and have them all use one
IBM i user id, does that count as one user?
Repeat: What others believe, and what software vendors believe, may not
jive.
IBM will grab performance data, etc during an audit. Do not be surprised
if your vendor goes so far as to say, "hmm, 6,000 connections on port 80
at once..."
