Actually we migrated from Mimix to Quick-EDD. We've already been through
a few switches.
We just install option 42 on all LPARs. Irregardless of what they run.
Everything has dependencies. For example this requires you have 5770999
and 5770SS1 *BASE. :-)
But I don't recall any other dependencies. Again, we just do it.
I don't recall having to drop replication or anything during the initial
install. Been a few years though.
Just tried a search in Google. Funny thing is the fix Mimix issued for
systems which do NOT have this program installed.
Yeah, I would get it on pronto for you. But, hey, if you want to open a
ticket with Mimix and get them to answer your questions do it. You paid
for it.
