What Larry was saying is that an IBM i administrator was also given the
responsibility for IBM Domino (such as me). Now, some corporate edict

only strategic platforms are Red Hat Linux and Windows and they move email
from Domino on IBM i to O365 or some such thing. What Larry said was that
some administrators would like this as this would ease their workload
because it would be likely that someone else would now administer email.
It had nothing whatsoever to do with sending email directly from IBM i to
elsewhere by routing it through some gateway. But nice way to use that as
an excuse to plug your product.

I guess we saw it coming from two different perspectives. I didn't see
Lary mention *nix or windows or Red Hat either. I don't see how moving
from Domino to O365 has anything to do with that. O365 is cloud based.

"Email" is a broad term. I deal with it from client perspective. You
don't obviously. If you send email from your IBM i and switch from Domino
to O365, there's a headache right there. Obviously not easing the workload
until that gets figured out. And if that can be done in 10 minutes vs days
working with IBM's SMTP server, I'd say it's win win.
