The S/36 had an option on their DELETE command to write binary zeros over
the item you were deleting.

Somehow you can try to segregate this old "disk" into it's own ASP. And
once there, fill it up with gibberish. I find the fastest easiest way on
machines with physical disk is the CRTNWSSTG command. If you're busting
for time you can submit multiple of these.
