Sure an OS upgrade may be "more" disruptive than a TR upgrade. But if
you're going to do a disruptive upgrade in the first place why not do the
one that gets you the most current?
Sure you have to verify you have the right version of your vendor software
to be compatible and all that. And read any and all applicable MTU's. And
whatever other caveats you want to throw in there but, as Jim said, the
disruption should only be two hours more. Why spend one weekend putting
TR7 on and the next putting 7.3 on?
