Avast is in the anti-virus / end-point security business - pretty well-respected for the free client, at least.

This is not an IBM i product - probably runs on a Windows server box, not sure about Linux.

How does it work with IBM i? Same maybe as Norton or other endpoint security applications. Not much at all is my guess, although maybe there is some possible use with files in the IFS, if you expose them to the network, that is.

Help Systems has a scanning software for the IBM i.

If you are looking for corporate endpoint stuff, I strongly suggest going to Sophos - www.sophos.com

People are asking just what it is you want this to do related to IBM i - what is it supposed to do? Help us help you, man!

Regards
Vern

Can you elaborate on what you mean? In my world "AD" means Active Directory, but that doesn't seem applicable here.
