Just saw this thread...

We use IBM i Access for Web in two cases:

1. display Unicode data to green screen users (data are in CCSID(1208)
fields)
by constructing a link with a SQL select and invoking ACS
using STRPCCMD.
(This comes in handy for displaying Korean or Japanese names for
instance)

2. checking on the health of the i server using my mobile
(I even manage to reply with R or C to a waiting batch job)

These require the IWAIAS HTTP server to be on.

Hi Don

So far as I know, this is the only web client - it is set up so you can
use it on mobile devices, too, which is nice, I'm told - have not tried
it myself, not sure it's even set up at our place.

Good luck!
Vern
