RE: Power 6 and Power 7 (perhaps not 7+) firmware

The wording is confusing, misleading, and incorrect.
I went out fix central and found new firmware was just released yesterday, 2/6/18, for P7-8205-E6C.
But the link stated that the last firmware to be released for P7-8205-E6C was September 30, 2017.

Am I reading that right, that IBM is now saying no Spectre/Meltdown firmware fixes will be available for old, but still supported, hardware?
