The PDF is created by an RPG program, called with an OVRPRTF using the
standard IBM-supplied AFP to PDF conversion, earlier in the same CL
program. So the CHGOWN is transferring it from the user's own user
profile to the user's primary group profile (as it happens, for no good
reason in this case, since it, and its enclosing directory, are supposed
to get deleted once it's been successfully ZIPped).
And I looked at MINZIP; it doesn't adopt owner authority.
I've added some diagnostics to the CL program in question, that should
dump an extended DSPLNK of the directory containing the PDF, and an
immediate joblog, to spool files, and then throw an escape message of
its own.
