It does back up to cloud. You need the special add on product (last time I
checked, not inexpensive) and in the latest announcement and new TR you can
boot from cloud now too.
The product is 5733-ICC IBM Cloud Storage Solutions for i. It's really a
Rocket Software Inc product licensed and sold by IBM.

Guys, for some reason I remember hearing at last year's spring event that
IBM was working on allowing BRMS to interact with AWS to allow the IBM I to
backup to cloud storage. Have any of you heard anything about this or am I
just dreaming?
