Not really. There is an exit point I've often used for situations like
this.

QIBM_QCA_CHG_COMMAND CHGC0100 *YES Change command exit programs

Let's say you have SNDDST imbedded in all your programs. Now you want to
use some other email program. So if you see someone use SNDDST with
parameters for generating an email you can automatically have it use some
other program. Been there, done that.
