IBM is still doing service packs for iSeries Access for Windows? Why?
AFAIK ACS does not yet include all database features that are available in
Client Access.
So they add the new (database only?) to Client Access, too.

IBM is still doing service packs for iSeries Access for Windows? Why? I
had no idea.

The ACS Application Packages for Windows and Linux are on the same
schedule for updates as iSeries Access for Windows service packs.
Any time
a new iSeriesAccess for Windows service pack comes out, there will be a
new ACS Application Package. The main ACS (Java) bundle has its own
development and fix schedule.
