AFAIK no "hard reset" on P6 and above hardware. Can't understand how you
could kill the FSP with a reset. It takes a long time (5+ minutes) but
always ends... If you had VIOS you supposedly had an HMC, why do baremetal
when you have an HMC?
I've seen c1001029 on machines without the VPD Card (forgot to plug it
after replacing a board...)...

Best Regards,

Roberto

Have you tried to move the 2 dip switches to perform the hard reset?

Couple of google searches that I found show a bad service processor card.

Yeah I know its bad. My question is can be be replaced or
reprogrammed? I looked all through the docs and there is no FRU part
number or any diagrams of where its located. It looks like its built
onto the motherboard.
