How are you running nslookup?
On a system with:
IBM i 7.3
TC18025
SF99727 4
5770SS1 31 - Domain Name System

NSLOOKUP HOSTNAME('10.10.6.48') DMNNAMSVR(gdsdns)

Server: 10.10.4.250
Address: 10.10.4.250#53

48.6.10.10.in-addr.arpa name = mail1.corp.dekko.com.

Press ENTER to end terminal session.
