I have a question about encryption. I hope it is okay to discuss this here.

We have an encrypted drive on the iSeries, but QTEMP is on the system part of the drive and is not encrypted. What do you do about using QTEMP? Is there a way to encrypt that library? Can we make a symbolic link and use that instead? Or, do you simply not use QTEMP anymore?

We are considering buying a software package that uses QTEMP and are now considering not using it because it uses QTEMP and QTEMP is not encrypted. Has anyone run across this?

Thanks,
