the password field wraps onto the two lines between password & program.

Find if your password is 28 chars...disconcerting when the cursor wraps to
the next line at 29..

If it were me, and I expected to use 30-40 characters...I'd modify
QDSIGNON2 to shift stuff to the left...

Perhaps even adding a 27x132 version of the screen?
