Rob,

Just curious, how would you do a complete recovery if you're not saving the secondary groups?

Yes, I cut down our SAVSYS from over an hour to under 5 minutes by removing secondary groups. Compared to authorization lists secondary groups are just disgusting.

Either way it's SLOW. I doubt Brad would have this issue but I have
customers with 5 hour SAVSYS to LTO5 because their security involves
vast and copious piles of private authorities. To RDX I'm not sure it
would ever finish! :-)

But I do expect he meant full system save

He said he was doing a SAVSYS. On my VTL that's under 4 minutes.
Or was he improperly using the term SAVSYS for a save entire system?
That
takes significantly longer.
