WE HAVE A WINNER!

I *thought* I had tried this before, but I only tried it with one mapped
drive, not all 6 of the mapped drives I had.  (Also, I remember that the
timing of this issue starting did *not* coincide with changing my password
on the i.)  So, using your advice, I disconnected all 6 mapped drives
first, then reconnected them.  For reference, when it came time to map the
drive on my Win7 client:
1) On the "Map Network Drive" dialog, I checked "Reconnect at logon" and
"Connect using different credentials".  Click on Finish.
2) On the subsequent "Windows Security" dialog, I am prompted to Enter
Network Password.  I click on "Use another account"; enter the user ID with
the domain,  \\development.mycompany.com\myuserid, and enter my i
password.  I also click on "Remember my credentials".
