I don't understand the question. So, how about the only gain is "a slap
upside the head"?
Are you expecting better performance or some such thing if you're running
behind on all the patches, security fixes, etc?

But honestly, we weren't really keeping up until recently. We had our BP
upgrade the ddos and stuff on the DD2500 this year to current levels.
