Scott Klement has a site in which he has examples of writing to the IFS.
You may want to use this. Then you will have control over this. I've
also found that it's often faster than CPYTOIMPF (you should see the SQL
CPYTOIMPF uses if you run it in debug). While the biggest advantage is
control I've also been pounded by CPYTOIMPF and it's constantly changing
rules about CCSID during release upgrades.
