I know I go back at least to 1999 with midrange.com, because I remember
discussing Y2K with y'all. TBH, I take it for granted. I shudder to think
where I'd be if not for the amazing community here.

BTW, since we're reminiscing here, does anyone remember the old News3x
BBS? This would have been in the mid 80s. I distinctly remember my first
interaction with Mel Beckman and some other big name midranger, whose name
escapes me, who pilloried me (in good humor) after I made the fatal mistake
of "shouting" in a discussion.

Folks:

While we were celebrating 30 years of IBM i (System i, iSeries, & AS/400
too) I noticed that midrange.com will be 25 years old in October.

I'm sure I'll say it again ... but I'd like to thank everyone who has
helped make midrange.com a vibrant & useful part of the IBM i community.

p.s. Strictly speaking, the Midrange System BBS is older than that ... but
I'm basing the age on when I registered the midrange.com domain.
