Subject: RE: WAS70 to WAS85 (8.5.5.13)
Hi Don,
I usually follow the following steps when I migrate from old WAS to newer. With WAS, anything can happen but it's still a good guide.

Subject: WAS70 to WAS85 (8.5.5.13)
Has anyone used the following steps
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSAW57_8.5.5/com.ibm.websphere.migration.nd.iseries.doc/ae/tmig_is_to70nd.html
to move 70 to 85? I have one Power 8 that was upgraded to V7R3 before migration and I built the app server from scratch. Another Power 8 I scratched the WAS7 and built the WAS85 and app server prior to V7R3 upgrade. Last night I installed 8.5.5.13 on a V7R1 in preparation of a V7R3 upgrade. I can scratch WAS7 again (I have saved the ear I need as I did with others) and build app server under WAS85 but would like to see if there is a more correct set of steps before V7R3.
Thanks
